Air Pollution Substance Measurement "Reagent for Aldehyde Measurement"

Handling of standard substances and internal standard materials used for the measurement of formaldehyde/aldehydes in the "Manual for Measurement Methods of Harmful Air Pollutants" by the Ministry of the Environment!

The "Standard Solution for Analyzing Aldehydes" is for measuring air pollutants. Several aldehydes are listed in regulations and guidelines related to chemical substances in indoor air pollution, specific odor substances under the Odor Prevention Law, and harmful air pollutants. The analysis of these aldehydes is conducted by collecting them using a 2,4-DNPH impregnated cartridge adsorbent and derivatizing them into aldehyde-DNPH compounds. The DNPH-derivatized compounds are then separated and analyzed using GC or LC equipment. We provide standard substances and internal standards used in the "Manual for Measuring Harmful Air Pollutants" (Revised March 2019) published by the Ministry of the Environment, specifically in Chapter 1 of Part 4, "Measurement Methods for Formaldehyde and Acetaldehyde in the Atmosphere." Radioactive material analysis, measurement of radioactive materials.

We will respond to radiation measurement using various measurement methods to prevent reputational damage.

In response to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the demand for radioactive substance measurement has increased. Naito Environmental Management Co., Ltd. will respond to radiation measurement using various methods to prevent reputational damage. The measurement services include "radioactivity measurement using NaI(Tl) scintillation spectrometers," "nuclide analysis using gamma-ray spectrometry with germanium semiconductor detectors," and "radiation dose measurement using GM counter survey meters." For more details, please contact us or refer to our catalog.

[Case Study on Problem Solving] Measurement of substances that will be regulated by law in the work environment in the future.

As part of the risk assessment, we are also flexibly responding to the measurement of substances that are not subject to regulation!

Our company conducts measurements of substances that will be regulated by law in the future, such as benzyl alcohol, in the working environment. We received an inquiry from the safety officer of a printing factory regarding the measurement of chemicals used in the factory after seeing the news about a worker engaged in printing operations in Osaka Prefecture who developed bile duct cancer in March 2012. In response, we measured the concentration using a method that adsorbs the solvent onto a solid-phase extraction cartridge and reported the reference values. We now conduct regular measurements three times a year to monitor the dispersion of benzyl alcohol. In this way, as part of our risk assessment, we flexibly respond to the measurement of substances that are not subject to regulation. 【Measurement Overview】 ■ Personal exposure measurement, filter collection ■ Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Detection of volatile substances exceeding 10 times the reference value.

[Shick House Measurement] We present a case where volatile substances exceeding 10 times the standard value were detected in a newly constructed office.

This is an introduction to a case where volatile substances exceeding 10 times the standard value were detected in a newly constructed office. The measurement results showed that formaldehyde was not detected, but toluene significantly exceeded the standard value. In response, the general contractor implemented a method called "bake-out," which involves forcibly heating the indoor space to drive out volatile substances and ventilate the area. They were able to bring the levels within the standard value in a short period of three days. 【Overview】 ■Issue - Detection of volatile substances exceeding 10 times the standard value in a newly constructed office ■Solution - Response using a method called "bake-out," which involves forcibly heating the indoor space to drive out volatile substances and ventilate *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Measurement of substances causing sick house syndrome

The standard delivery time is one week after sample collection. We recommend measuring substances that cause sick house syndrome.

After the construction of new buildings or renovations, problems caused by volatile chemical substances emitted from building materials and interior materials, commonly known as sick house syndrome, continue to arise. At TTC, we conduct "measurements of substances causing sick house syndrome." Regarding the passive sampling method, we have also started a convenient delivery service that allows customers to collect samples themselves. 【Sampling Methods】 ■ Active Sampling Method (Suction Method) - Sample collection time: 30 minutes ■ Passive Sampling Method (Diffusion Method) - Sample collection time: 8 hours or 24 hours *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
